Mitchell Carter Biography
Mitchell Carter is an American journalist working as a news reporter for WFIE14 News. A local of Huntingburg, Indiana, he’s eager to be once again at home in the Tri-State making every moment count!
Subsequent to moving on from Southridge High School in Huntingburg, Mitch proceeded to move on from Ball State University in December of 2021 with a double degree in Journalism and Telecommunications and a minor in Creative Writing.
While not working, Mitch actually appreciates remaining dynamic and staying aware of Ball State Football as well as the Chicago Bears.
He’s eager to have the option to reconnect with the sport he grew up in, and Mitch anticipates serving the Tri-State region in any capacity that he would be able.

Mitch joined the 14 News Team in 2022 as a Multimedia Journalist. While at Ball State, he played Fullback for the Cardinals on the football field, bringing home a Mid-American Conference Championship and the Arizona Bowl in 2020.
He was an individual from the Ball State Daily News as well as NewsLink Indiana as a correspondent, chief, maker, and anchor.
In the late spring of 2019, he interned with The Indiana Citizen in Indianapolis where he found out about political up-and-comers all around the territory of Indiana and helped with getting Hoosier electors data about their particular locale.
